Guidance, not supervision

Mentors provide scientific guidance and professional insight to Fellows, helping them strengthen their research methodology, scientific thinking and career development.

The relationship is advisory. Mentors are not expected to conduct research on behalf of Fellows, to supervise them formally, or to take on the obligations of a host institution.

Mentor registration

Become a mentor

If you are passionate about nurturing scientific talent and advancing biomedical research, we invite you to join our growing community of mentors. Your experience can help researchers turn innovative ideas into impactful discoveries.

Before you start

Have these to hand

  • Your institution or organisation, and where you are based
  • The research areas you can meaningfully advise on
  • How much time you can give each month, and how many Fellows you could take
  • A short note on your background and why you want to mentor
  • A CV or short biography to attach - PDF or DOCX, up to 2 MB

Registering is not a commitment

We will write to you before matching you with a Fellow, and no mentoring begins until you confirm the fit.
